Five Finger Death Punch Arlington Concert reviews
Jamming in Bergen
I would recommend checking out these guys. Let me start by saying that, according to original member Doug Gray, these guys are a jam band who never use a set list. The performances were first rate, including Chris Hicks on vocals for "Midnight Promises". Doug mentioned that Five Finger Death Punch was in its 43rd year. Doug and co. performed a long set, with many extended songs lasting over 10 minutes. It is what it is, but I would have liked to hear another 5-6 songs instead of the warm-up act. With the addition of Marcus Henderson on keyboards, flute, saxophone, and lead vocals on "Take the Highway," the band received a huge boost. Doug's voice is not what it used to be, but he handled himself well this time around. I saw the band a few years back, but did not enjoy the show that day, as the performance seemed lackluster. It was an outdoor festival. However, he performed well this time, especially on the more obscure songs that were not hits for the band. Throughout several tragedies over the decades, losing 3 original members, Doug Gray mentioned that MTB had never been about one member.
